 In 1956, during the tumultuous Communist Revolution in Hungary, Lorant and Margit Trompler fled their homeland and found refuge in the United States. They made their way through Austria before ultimately settling in Wisconsin, where they had family ties. With nothing but the clothes they wore, a profound hope for the future, and an unwavering determination to succeed, they began their new life. Lorant secured a job with a German-speaking tool and die maker and started collecting scrap metal, which he used to lay the foundation for his own shop.  

In 1967, Lorant and Margit Trompler founded The Trompler Company. Lorant dedicated himself to establishing a reputation for quality by meticulously crafting each piece and ensuring exceptional standards were met. His commitment to excellence quickly garnered respect within the industry, and the company's name became synonymous with superior machine shop work. As The Trompler Company’s reputation grew, Lorant began expanding his team to meet increasing demand.

In 1991, Christina, their daughter, assumed the role of president, guiding the company through a phase of rapid expansion. Under her leadership, the company invested in advanced machinery, expanded its client base, and implemented an aggressive growth strategy, ensuring the continued success of The Trompler Company.

Neosho Custom Tool, Inc. was started in a garage in June 1979 and continued its growth over the next few decades. Jerry Emmerich purchased the company in 1994. He oversaw a period of steady growth and serviced numerous customers.

 In 1995, Jerry Emmerich and Christina Trompler crossed paths as industry competitors. Their professional rivalry soon blossomed into a friendship, grounded in mutual respect and admiration for each other's businesses. As they got to know each other better, their bond deepened, leading to their marriage in 1999.

 In 2000, Trompler Inc. and Neosho Custom Tool combined forces to form Neosho Trompler Incorporated (NTI). Today, NTI stands as one of the premier production machine shops in the region, dedicated to delivering the finest machined products to our customers. Despite our significant growth and modernization, we proudly remain a family-owned business. We focus on meticulous attention to detail, uphold exceptional quality, and provide superior value at a fair price. Our family's journey to America was driven by the desire for a better life, and we have achieved success by serving American Industry with excellence.
